Acceptable use

How Kesarpro should be used.

A shared business system stays reliable when every business on it plays by the same fair rules. This page describes those rules in the same language we use when explaining them internally.
01

Legal and honest use

Use Kesarpro only for lawful business activity. In particular, do not:

  • Record transactions you know to be fictitious to mislead tax authorities or investors.
  • Store personally identifying information in unstructured fields to bypass access controls.
  • Attempt to hide or alter audit trails on refunds, ledger entries or inventory adjustments.

These are not marketing rules. Violating them puts the trustworthiness of the platform at risk for every business on it.

02

Fair use of shared resources

Certain product endpoints are rate-limited to keep the platform fast for everyone. In practice this means:

  • Automated integrations should stay within the rate limits documented for your tier.
  • Bulk imports and exports should be scheduled outside your business's peak hours.
  • Backups you take on your side should use the export API, not the interactive UI.
03

Security-adjacent behaviour

To protect your data and other tenants' data:

  • Do not share login credentials between humans - counter operators use terminal PINs, not shared user accounts.
  • Do not attempt to bypass MFA on accounts where an administrator has enforced it.
  • Do not run vulnerability scanners against production without prior written coordination.

Legitimate security research is welcome - please raise it through the responsible disclosure route on our security page.

04

Content restrictions

Do not use Kesarpro to store or transmit content that is unlawful under Indian law, that infringes another party's intellectual property, or that a reasonable person would consider harmful. If we become aware of such content, we will act on it in good faith and in coordination with the affected account administrator.

05

Consequences

Where usage clearly breaches this policy, we will first reach out to the account administrator to correct it. Persistent or severe breaches may lead to suspension or termination under the terms of service - always with a proportionate, reasoned explanation and an opportunity to preserve business continuity.
